Welcome Dancers!!

Coming this Wednesday, February 8th, Dave Green will be DJing our dance.  Dave will play a nice mix of dance music including waltz, foxtrot, cha cha, rumba, east and west coast swing, tango, night club and others.  Prior to the dance at 6:30 PM Dave and Linda Reiter will review the 4 count swing class they taught last week and add some new material.  We would love to have you join us!!

The Manhattan Dance Club is a friendly non-profit organization dedicated to the joy of dancing. The club hosts a dance every Wednesday evening from 7:30PM to 10:00PM. On some nights there is a free beginners dance lesson included with the price of admission. The lessons start at 6:30PM. No partner necessary. See Calendar for dates.

The dancing is a nice mixture of ballroom, swing, latin and contemporary dance usually done to live music provided by popular local bands. The dances are held in the upper ballroom of the AmVets Hall in South Tacoma where the floor is large and well maintained. The hall is located at 5717 South Tyler Street in Tacoma. Admission is $6 for members and $10 for non-members. If you would like to join the club you may do so at the admission desk at one of the dances. The annual membership fee is $20.
