Welcome Dancers!!

Next Wednesday, September 8th, the very popular duo, Casanova, will be playing for our dance. Not only are they great musicians they are also a lot of fun. That, along with our great dance floor makes the Manhattan Club dance a great dance! So grab your dancing shoes and come visit the Manhattan Dance Club. We are sure that once you try the Manhattan Club you'll see what a great place it is to dance and will come back again and again.

Also coming up on October 13th is the Manhattan Club's 50th anniversary! It will be a great chance to meet some of the members of one of the oldest dance clubs in the area. So mark your calendar and plan to attend. We would love to have you there!

The Manhattan Club is a friendly non-profit organization dedicated to the joy of dancing. The club hosts a dance every Wednesday evening from 7:30PM to 10:00PM. On some nights there is a free introductory dance lesson included with the price of admission. The lessons start at 6:30PM. No partner necessary. See Calendar for dates.

The dancing is a nice mixture of ballroom, swing, latin and contemporary dance done to live music provided by popular local bands. The dances are held in the upper ballroom of the AmVets Hall in South Tacoma where the floor is large and well maintained. The hall is located at 5717 South Tyler Street in Tacoma. Admission is $5 for members and $8 for non-members. If you would like to join the club you may do so at the admission desk at one of the dances. The annual membership fee is $20.
