Welcome Dancers!!

This coming Wednesday, May 23rd,    Dave Green  will be DJing the Manhattan Club dance.  Dave will play a variety of music suitable for most of the popular ballroom dances.  His music will include many old favorites and some new more contemporary music.  Prior to the dance at 6:30 PM Dave and Linda Reiter will teach a free beginning foxtrot lesson.  No experience or partner is necessary.  Come dance with us!  You will love the music and the floor!!

The Manhattan Dance Club is a friendly non-profit organization dedicated to the joy of dancing. The club hosts a dance every Wednesday evening from 7:30PM to 10:00PM. On most nights there is a free beginners dance lesson included with the price of admission. The lessons start at 6:30PM. No partner necessary. See Calendar for dates and lesson information.

The dancing is a nice mixture of ballroom, swing, latin and contemporary dance usually done to live music provided by popular local bands. The dances are held in the upper ballroom of the AmVets Hall in South Tacoma where the floor is large and well maintained. The hall is located at 5717 South Tyler Street in Tacoma. Admission is $6 for members and $10 for non-members. If you would like to join the club you may do so at the admission desk at one of the dances. The annual membership fee is $20.
